Some time ago we had the massively talented hop druids @overtonebrewing over for some barbecue. We discussed the importance of a 70°C whirlpool, survivable hop compounds and the impact of flaked oats on hazy IPAs. We also brewed a beer - The Green Room DIPA, 8.0% ABV. Loaded with the juiciest Strata, Galaxy and Motueka hops we could source over a malt backbone of Golden Promise and a big (30%) load of oats. It’s pretty damn awesome if we may say so ourselves.
