Draught Beer Equipment Hire
Are you looking to be the hostess with mostess at your next party? We can provide draught kegs along with dispensing equipment from many UK breweries. Most of our available kegs are 30L KeyKegs, approximately 60 cm x 30 cm and weigh about 35 kg when full. Some breweries only offer Steel Kegs which are heavier, but we can also source these for you if that is the format that your required beer comes in A 30L key keg contains roughly 52 pints. Key kegs operate like a large bag in box. An aluminium bag is encased within a hard plastic shell. When air is pumped into the shell, pressure is applied to the bag which in turn pushes the beer out of the tap. Please note that due to their fragility, kegs are collection only. Some beers are readily available while others have limited availability and we need to confirm with the brewery prior to accepting an order. Due to this, we ask that you give us at least a week’s notice. If it’s a beer emergency and you require it sooner, give us a call and we’ll try our best to get it for you.
Along with your keg we offer the rent one of our Lindr machines to chill and dispense the beer. The Lindr machines are single tapped and are £50 to hire with an additional £100 deposit to cover any potential damage. These are easy to setup where you simply plug in, wait 5 minutes and then pour ice cold draught beer. You will be shown how to operate the machine and given a full run through on how to get a good flow and minimise foaming. In both cases we ask that you return the keg along with the equipment within a week. KeyKegs are pressurised – their use is safe, however never pierce them. Return the keg to us with the equipment and we can depressurise it and recycle the plastic.
